Ossa 2022

Ossa is a new producer that has quickly established itself among Tasmania’s leading makers of Pinot Noir.

The 2022 vintage is particularly impressive, showing vibrant aromas of red fruits intertwined with savoury notes of undergrowth and mulch — the latter elements finely balanced.

On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, offering ripe, spicy red-fruit flavours. A faint spritz is present, a characteristic often — though not always — indicative of youth. Ready to enjoy now, this is a very good wine, if not quite a benchmark example.
